Organic refers to the way farmers grow and process agricultural products, such as fruits, vegetables, grains, dairy products and meat. Farmers who grow organic produce and meat don’t use conventional methods to fertilize, control weeds or prevent livestock disease.
Government sources claim, there is no conclusive evidence showing organic food is more nutritious versus conventionally grown food. The USDA which certifies organic food, doesn’t claim these products are safer or more nutritious.
Let’s take a closer look and you be the judge! Whether you know it or not, your body has become a chemical depository.
Fruits and vegetables…
Sulfur is used to keep dried fruit fresh. Formaldehyde which is used to retard corpse decomposition is added to disinfect frozen vegetables.
The blue shimmer on the surface of luncheon meat is the result of sodium nitrate. Sodium nitrate is commonly used in the preservation of ham, bacon, sausage and bologna to keep meat looking red, when normally, it should’ve decomposed into an unappealing gray. In the stomach, sodium nitrate is converted into nitrous acid which is suspected of inciting stomach cancer.
Chicken fingers, yum!
Feed for raising chickens contains arsenic to stimulate growth, increase egg-production and give the chicken a yellowed skin.
Where’s my aluminum boat?
Aluminum compounds are added to baking powder, aspirin, antacids, beer, table salt and antiperspirants. It also leaches into our food and water through cookware, soft drink cans and aluminum foil. It has been discovered in high concentrations in the brain of Alzheimer’s patients and is suspected in contributing to this disease.

Potatoes are coated with the chemical inhibitor, maleic hydrazide, which has resulted in cancer in laboratory animals.
Ice cream and anti-freeze?
Ice cream producers use propylene glycol, the same substance in anti-freeze and paint remover. Carboxymethylcellulose is a stabilizer, used in ice cream, salad dressing, cheese spreads and chocolate milk. It has produced tumors in 80% of rats injected. Yet, the FDA flatly denies it as a carcinogen, reason being, when it was given to the rats orally, it didn’t cause cancer.
MSG, no not message…
MSG (monosodium glutamate) is like glutamic acid, an amino acid that is used in the function of the brain. Dr. John W. Olany of the University School of Medicine, in St. Louis, decided to test MSG by injecting it into infant mice. After the MSG injection, nerve cells, especially in the hypothalamus, became dramatically swollen. Within several hours, these cells died.
It was discovered the enzymes which help to metabolize MSG in adults do not exist in infants. It is suspected that instead of the nutrient glutamic acid, MSG is carried to the brain, causing a dangerous excess. When his report was published, Gerber, Beech-Nut, and Heinz took monosodium glutamate out of their baby foods., Naive mothers fed MSG to their babies believing that these trustworthy companies would never put something harmful into their baby’s foods.
Growth hormones are given to animals, such as cattle, in order to make them gain weight faster. The net result being, producing meat products for consumers at a faster rate. Growth hormones also increase milk production in animals. While dairy and meat industries depend on the use of growth hormones for increased productivity and profit, these hormones may hold negative health repercussions for humans.
Antibiotics are used to keep the animals alive until they are butchered. However, a great problem with this is, when we eat this meat, our bodies are ingesting antibiotics in high volumes and are becoming immune to their bacteria fighting abilities. When we go to the doctor and require antibiotic treatment, it does nothing for us.
So with the above data, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to reach the conclusion, Organic food is the path to be taken if you value your health!
No one will convince me, all the above mentioned chemicals will not have a negative impact on your body or your health! The human body was never designed to process all of these toxins. These toxins just collect in your cells and wreck havoc. It’s no wonder in this day and age we are plagued with the all the diseases and various forms of cancer.
One must remember the catalyst behind the poisoning of society is financially motivated. These producers are dealing with competition and whoever arrives to the market first, wins! The cheapest and fastest way to produce is the path taken.
The sad reality, our government allows this to take place and provides guidelines on how much toxicity is acceptable for human consumption without consulting you! Nobody truly knows the long term effects of all these chemicals! When all of these chemicals are mixed along with government approved chlorinated water, we are nothing but walking test-tubes waiting for some unknown disease to grab hold!
Food was never designed to be genetically altered or chemically laced to preserve and look good so we would buy it over the competition!
Go organic! Yes, it comes at a higher price, but the benefits you derive from it are well worth it. Or, you can choose the cheaper alternative, dangerous government approved processed food. Pick your poison!
